An Orangevale man sent his five children away from the family vehicle before allegedly attempting to strangle his pregnant wife while the family was vacationing in Idaho, according to court documents and sheriff’s officials. Authorities say the Jan. 16 incident occurred at Celebration Park near Melba, where deputies responded to a reported attempted strangulation.
